Facilities

Old School Hall is the ideal size for birthday and anniversary parties, meetings, and music and theatrical rehearsals. We are also licensed to host intimate weddings or civil partnerships and are available for wedding and civil partnership celebrations.

Capacity

How many people the hall will hold depends on the nature of the activity. In the past we have accommodated:

Wedding receptions for up to 80 guests
Swing dances, barn dances and ceilidhs with a DJ or live music
Quiz nights with 80 seated round 10 tables plus a top table
Music rehearsals and performances with 100 seats and a small stage
Meetings with a top table and 40 seated
Wellbeing workshops, crafting sessions and video filming

Parking

The hall car park accommodates around 20 cars and there is on-street parking opposite.

Available for Use:

Trestle tables and folding conference chairs.
Inbuilt sound system that is free to use
PA system (at an additional cost of £40)
WiFi
Kitchen with a single oven, four-ring hob, microwave, larder fridge - and plenty of elbow room!
Tea urn, mugs, teaspoons, side plates and small tumblers.
Two toilets*

*Unfortunately the toilets are not wheelchair accessible due to the narrow door frame. As the building is Grade II listed, this is unlikely to change.
